National standard GB/T 48031-2026, “General Technical Requirements for Plastic-Bag Rice Packaging Production Lines”, led by Anhui Yongcheng Electronic Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., officially approved and released.
Standards are the technical cornerstone of industrial development, the core of an industry’s competitive voice, and a vital support for high-quality development in manufacturing. Recently, the national standard GB/T 48031—2026 “General Technical Requirements for Plastic-Bag Rice Packaging Production Lines,” drafted and led by Anhui Yongcheng Electronic Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., was officially approved and issued by the National Standardization Administration Committee, and will take effect on February 1, 2027. The introduction of this national standard fills a gap in domestic rice packaging standardization and is a milestone for advancing industry standardization and high-quality development, as well as for raising the international standing and voice of China’s rice packaging machinery technology.
For a long time, the domestic plastic-bag rice packaging production line sector has lacked a unified national standard. Products from different manufacturers varied in performance parameters, safety requirements, and inspection methods, creating difficulties for grain and oil processing companies in equipment selection, project acceptance, and routine maintenance, while also constraining the industry’s overall technological progress and quality improvement to some extent.
